Welcome to my newest project, Aging Ski Bum! My name is Jamie and I have spent my whole adulthood pursuing my passion as a skier. From my first season “Taking a year off to ski before college” in 1987 at Squaw Valley, California, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I have held a wide variety of jobs, entrepreneurial pursuits and side hustles that have allowed me to continue “Living the dream.” I have notched over 4,000 ski days, including first descents on two continents and still get pumped for a good day on the slopes. I’m a dis-enfranchised United States Citizen currently based in a remote village where two rivers meet deep in the Italian Alps. I’ve decided to become a blogger to document my experiences, conduct product reviews and interviews with movers and shakers, as well as share experiences and pro tips from my unique perspective as an aging (but still passionate) ski bum.
